Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Exploits University, and a Master’s in Business Administration from ESAMI, Mrs. Mulewa brings a strong blend of strategic vision and operational expertise to managing the Board’s most valuable asset—its people.

A seasoned expert in human capital development, she has excelled in aligning HR strategies with organizational goals. Her competencies span workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development—making her a key pillar of the Board’s people-first approach.Under her leadership, the Board was recognized as the Best Employer of the Year (1st place) and 2nd place in Industrial Relations and Employee Engagement at the 2024 Employers’ Consultative Association of Malawi (ECAM) awards.
